54 Miles today   2231 Total miles
A nice ride with an awesome tailwind. We did have to dodge the rain a couple times but no big deal. Only a little more than 100 miles to go.  We are familiar with the Key Largo to Key West ride as we have done it twice before.   You really appreciate the beauty of the Keys when travelling on a bike.

We stopped at a bike shop, Backcountry Cowboy, to borrow an air pump and blow up our tires. We met the owners, Kristi and JC. They could not have been more helpful. Very nice folks.

We were staying with Jerry, a good friend of ours, who was nice enough to put us up and feed us lobster and steak. It was awesome. He has a beautiful home in Marathon on the water. He could not have been more accommodating.

We will be in Key West tomorrow – the last day of riding. Having mixed emotions – wanting to finish and not wanting to stop.

One of many pedestrian/bicycle/fishing bridges. These were the old bridges that were replaced and they kept them and converted them.
