71 Miles today   1156 Total miles
We did not post last night (Sun 10/13) due to no WiFi (or even cell service). We were at Cedar Island, NC. We spent the day in Ocracoke Island and took the afternoon ferry to Cedar Island. It was a nice trip 23 miles and 2 1/2 hours. We stayed at the only place available in Cedar Island - the indescribable "Driftwood Motel". It was awful - every aspect. Enough said.

Today (Mon 10/14) we rode from Cedar Island to Cedar Point - 66 miles, our furthest ride so far. We had 20 mph winds all day, sometimes a tailwind, sometimes a headwind. We walked a bridge today as it was too windy to ride and be safe. Overall it was a long but nice ride. We took a little time to do some fishing today - see picture below.

Happy birthday to our oldest son, Jeff. We miss and love you. He is helping with watching our dogs.

We are at the halfway mark - 26 days done and 26 days to go. It has been an awesome experience so far.
The above pictures are from Ocracoke Island.

Can't believe you still have as long left as you've already done! Wow! What a trip. Glad you're enjoying. Can't wait to hear the stories. Be safe and be blessed. Love, walt and jan

We missed you guys this weekend in CLST. It was the webinar with Dr Cottle on the Song of Songs. I tagged you in a picture of Debbie's quiche and a bagel! Be safe!
